Driven by the mission of democratizing access to capital by and for women and communities of color and mainstreaming impact investing, SISG designs community-centered strategies for philanthropists, foundations, investors and social entrepreneurs for positive, sustainable social impact.

Rasmussen has a proven track record of strategic positioning, creative communications, combined with an innate ability to develop strong relationships internally and with community partners for win-win outcomes and shared sense of purpose. She has been recognized for her innovation in driving impact & organizational effectiveness working for a range of organizations including: Shearson/Lehman Bros., Native Americans in Philanthropy, Warner Bros!, Dreamworks and the US State Department.

Elaine has authored Protecting the Protectors: Aligning Investment Strategies for Native American Communities, she speaks on panels locally and nationally on impact investing, sits on the Association for Black Economic Power executive committee and MNVest board of directors.

Rasmussen is a Visiting Advisor for Swift Foundation, serves a key role to bring a Black-led credit union to North Minneapolis, is an RSF Integrated Capital Fellow and Nexus Community Partners TA Cooperative Developer Fellow.
